AND, of course, I didn't update my LJ since last spring! HAHAAHAHA

So yeah... what can I say to resume the year, without being too long ?! Well, for figure skating, I'm having a very great season. I have to say that Kurt made me (and still making me) working very hard! hihi Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Worlds.. and I hope to change the bronze I got last year, for another color! ;P

On the personal life... well, I can say that I'm still very very happy!! Jeez... I think I never was that happy since a long time! :D
Soren and I are still together ; it was our 1st anniversary in November. A month later, Soren had a surprise for me... He managed to get the arcade where everything started, all for us. So, we played all our favorites games. Then, after I played a game of pinball, Soren was on one knee and a message on the machine. Soren asked me to marry him!!!! :D
So now, we're engaged! hihi After the Worlds, I'll move in at his house... We haven't set a date for the wedding ; We don't have enough time for this summer, so I think the better idea will be in 2008. We have to talk about it... but for now, we are both busy with the training for the Worlds.

Well.. look like I forgot to update frequently! lol So, what happened since my last entry....

Olympics came and passed... I had such a great time there, I loved it! I finished 5th, which is a good result and I'm satisfied. Now, I'm really looking forward 2010, when the Olys will be at Vancouver, Canada!! God! it will be so cool! :D
If the atmosphere at the Vancouver's Olympics will be like it was at the Worlds in Calgary... it will be unbelievable!! I knew a very good competition outhere... I won the Bronze!! WOW.. lol... Seriously, it was really a surprise!! Just look at the picture from a canadian newspaper:

I was on the same podium with Anastasia and Tatina Larina... I mean... WOW!! :D
I still can't believe I won a World medal... I look at it sometimes and I'm like "Wow.. it was for real!" hihihi

After the competitions, Soren brought me to an outside rink and we skated together for almost all the night! It was so nice... we were all alone, and we were having a view of the city and on the mountains... *sigh*... I'll stop before everybody called me a cheesy person or something like that. lol

After the Worlds, well, I stayed in Canada for a few weeks, because I had a lot of interviews ; and after that, I came back at my parents' house in Québec City to just relax and be lazy for a few days!

So yeah, I'm back in California... and I'm already working to find music for my new programs... :D
I have to go... Soren is about to come here and we will go out! *grins*

Already a week done in Torino!! Time flies fast I guess when we have fun! hihi

The Opening ceremony was unbelievable!! Kurt was the flag bearer for Canada, but when we right before we entered in the arena, he offered the flag to me and Catherine Efstathiou!! We were like "Huh ?!"!! hehehe. We had so much fun... and I think it will shut up the people who were saying that Cathy and I hate each other since the Nationals. hehe (I didn't and never hate her... Yes I was disappointed to not get the title, but I wasn't mad at her. She was simply the best at that moment and it was enough to win. POINT FINAL!)
Right before the athlete's march, I went to see Soren with Team Denmark. He was the flag bearer for his country... He looked so cute and proud! :D

Pairs event was interesting. Alice and Christian dominated the competition right away and they were untouchable. They got the Gold! But the real fight was for the Silver... Until the end of the competition, it wasn't sure for Dinesen/Johansen that they would have the Silver. Danish fans were so loud when it was confirmed after the last couple skate. It was incredible to see that!!

After that, it was the men's event. Then again, the greatest fight was for the Silver medal. Kurt was simply the best and he was comfortably sat on the top!! I was sat with Alice during the men's event... poor girl, she was nervous like hell for Christian. He got sick before the SP, he was pale like a ghost.. but apparentely he wanted to skate anyway! It went so/so for him, but it was very courageous of him to skate in this shape.
Nicky Campbell was the surprise of the SP, when he placed 2nd. Soren was 3rd and the Danish fans got crazy again! hahaha... And it was only the SP!! So, for the LP, Soren did one of his best skate of the season and he finished 2nd!! Do I have to say that the Danish were hysterical after that ???!! hahahaha

So, today it's the final dance. And I'll start my competition tomorrow night... The waiting is unbearable! hahaha

I hope everything will go well... But all I want is to be proud of my performances! :D

(OOC - Just pretend this was wrote right after the Ladies Free Skate at the Canadians...)

So, yeah... I got the silver... I won the free skate, but it wasn't enough to climb up on the first place. I did a stupid mistake during the short that cost me a lot... and the door was totally open for Catherine. Even by winning the long, she didn't have to fear to fall in the placement... the marge of points between us was enough to be safe.

I'm disappointed *sigh*.... The first half of the season was a dream for me! I hoped that I could medal at the Grand Prix and reach the finale... Having a medal at the GPF is a bonus for me!! But my main goal for this season was to get the National title, and I failed. And I'm kind of mad, because I had skated the short almost perfectly during all the Grand Prix... I had to do a mistake during the Nationals... *rolls eyes*

I know what you guys are saying... You got a medal, you were on the podium, a big improvement if you compare to last year... I know all that.... Tomorrow, I'll be happy of this silver medal... but tonight, I don't and I'm majorly disappointed of myself...
It will pass I guess!

Enough babbling and complaining for tonight...

Hi from Toronto!!

I'm here for the Canadian Nationals (duh!). Actually, I'm not too nervous... It might change in a few days though! *giggles*
Anyway, guess who will be the flag bearer for the Province of Québec, at the opening ceremony: ME!! Wow! I still can't believe it!

Oh yeah! On the Canadian Nationals web site, there is a nice *old* picture of Kurt ; I thought some of you would like to see it! :p :
